Late to the game

Jennifer's tree is fabulous!  I have an idea and a start but need to find  make the time to finish it up!

I did get Katy's value blocks done last week, and they went in the mail with Amy's value blocks... this will be a fun quilt, looking forward to seeing how you lay it out:

My month is fast approaching (July) and I change my mind almost weekly on what to have you wonderful quilters make for me.  I saw Amy's Octagonal Rainbow quilt at our MQG meeting last week, it is just lovely!

Happy Spring ladies,

  3. Those birds are gorgeous Doris and I really like your yellow and olive fabrics too.

I totally understand your see-sawing about what pattern to select for us all to do. The possibilities are overwhelming aren't they. I'm not until way down the track and I can't possibly imagine what to do.

  4. Doris...they are Beautiful! I can't wait to receive them in the mail....
Speaking of finding (making) time, I too haven't started my tree yet for Shauna. And I'm *Still* trying to finish my 2012 quilt from our group...before I start to play with these blocks and make my pattern and then start the sewing part. So...I plod along and find comfort in the fact others are plodding along too. This group gives me such inspiration though. True boosts of colour, art, energy, and excitement through this blog and the posts!!!
    love,
    Katy

  5. Thanks for the comment on my tree block Doris. Yes, I agree that making time to sew is not always easy...and you just moved into a new house so your schedule must seem extra full right now. As I look back on all of our projects in the last year and a half, I am so glad that we are all making/finding/choosing to sew and put these pretty things into our own lives and into the lives of others. I know our sewing makes a difference in one way or another now, in the many years ahead of us, and beyond.
