I had lots of fun creating my trees and really hope they fit your vision Shauna. I used a combination of hand applique and zig zag. I'm inspired by your tree 'drawings' on fabric and hope to try that one day. Just need to become acquainted with my free motion foot :) Excited to see more designs posted on our blog!

AWSOME - your trees fit my vision to a tee:) I especially love how you were able to incorporate a bird in one of the trees too! WOW! Thank you so very much! Oh that's great Shauna, I'm so glad they're to your liking :)) I must admit I was a bit nervous being the first one to post. Yes, they are my own design. I wasn't sure where I'd end up but was inspired by a piece of Japanese fabric with two whimsical trees and a rabbit! Oh and if you look closely, you may spy a second bird :)) Thank you Shauna!

ReplyDeleteWonderful work, Chis! I also think that the tree on the right is a four seasons tree with a bit of spring, summer, fall, and winter in it. Were you thinking that too? In fact, both of them look like they could have some snow piled on top.
