Claire's block for Anthea

Here is my whirligig block. Anthea I really hope you like the green patterned fabric. I like it so much I am going to have to use it to make something for myself! It is a beautiful sunny day today, the spring flowers are everywhere, you can still see the snow on the mountains and it all looks so pretty!

    Thank you heaps Claire. The green is good fun and I will be interested to see how you end up using it. I love the way you've teamed the green dots & circles with a white dot. It's a great whirlygig and will be right at home with all the others our lovely group has made me.

    I love that fabric, Claire! It reminds me of the glass paperweights at the Art Institute in Chicago I used to look at all the time. So vibrant!

    Hi Claire! I love the two fabrics you chose. The whirligig design is very lively, yet I think we have all chosen peaceful fabrics to balance it out. Enjoy the sunshine, I think next week is going to be rainy and cold. :-(
