I can understand why Jennifer wanted to keep her block for a while and just admire it. I have impressed myself with all that sewing up of little squares. I tried really hard to keep the points pointy and match the seams, so it is very satisfying to find a couple of spots where six fabrics meet reasonably nicely. I look forward to seeing your completed quilt Amy.

ReplyDeleteLovely work, Anthea! I remember you being nervous about your sewing skills at the beginning of 2013. This was a challenging block and yours looks terrific! It's fun to see some familiar fabrics in your photo. Yours is definitely an international block! Some of that fabric travelled from the US to Switzerland, from Switzerland to Australia, and now it gets to go back and live in the US. It deserves frequent flyer miles. :-)
