Before I started, I was rather worried that sewing up long thin rectangles would show up any errors and yes some of my seams do look rather curvaceous. Look at the top of the block!!! My scant 1/4 inch seams are a bit too scant in places and so the whole thing is a tad too long. Hmmm. I might sit on this for a bit and un-pick the worst offenders, redo and then mail it off to you Katy.
I'm off to the vegie patch now. There is a fair bit of precursor groundwork to enjoy before my Autumn planting.

Anthea! It is gorgeous...please don't change a thing about it. I am not attached to straight edges :) I love all forms of art and creativity, and this block is perfect just the way it is. We love similar fabrics - I could have all of yours in my stash. Thank you so much!!!
ReplyDeleteI did suspect that you would love it as it is Katy, but wasn't brave enough to voice that. Will send it on its merry way then.
DeleteI love all of your prints! The red in the middle is my fave, though. So bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your gardening, Anthea. We in Canada have just got another snowfall!! Bah!!! I was hoping to use the Easter weekend to do some much needed garden clean up.
