Blocks for Jamie and the 2013 Charity Quilt!

Hi Everyone!

I had fun experimenting a bit with fallen over blocks for Jamie's quilt. As you predicted Jamie, many scraps were already cut and ready to use.

And for Pam, the pinwheel design is easy so I hope you can use two (if not both for the September quilt, then the second one for something else later on). I am always happy to work with bright, happy colors! Hope you are having a good vacation. mom brought over the charity quilt that we made blocks for last year. One of her quilting friends in New Mexico (Dottie Bell) did a beautiful job of quilting this for us.

I have a contact at a
"half-way" home here in Lausanne for war refugees. The quilt will go to this home.
I hope you are all well. The summer went by way too quickly. School is in full swing once again. Thank goodness for weekends!

  1. Beautiful! I love the charity quilt. It fits together so nicely. Thank you for all of your hard work!!

Your bookend blocks are darling! I love the bright colors. Well done!

  2. Those book blocks look great Jennifer. The charity quilt is lovely and I think the quilting looks terrific. It reminds me that I still have to make this year's charity block.

  3. The charity quilt looks sooo pretty. I love the angled books!
