Blocks for Jamie and Pam...plus the 2013 Charity Quilt!

Hi Everyone!

I had fun experimenting a bit with fallen over blocks for Jamie's quilt. As you predicted Jamie, many scraps were already cut and ready to use.

And for Pam, the pinwheel design is easy so I hope you can use two (if not both for the September quilt, then the second one for something else later on). I am always happy to work with bright, happy colors! Hope you are having a good vacation.

Finally...my mom brought over the charity quilt that we made blocks for last year. One of her quilting friends in New Mexico (Dottie Bell) did a beautiful job of quilting this for us.

I have a contact at a
"half-way" home here in Lausanne for war refugees. The quilt will go to this home.

I hope you are all well. The summer went by way too quickly. School is in full swing once again. Thank goodness for weekends!

Love,
Jennifer

  2. Those book blocks look great Jennifer. The charity quilt is lovely and I think the quilting looks terrific. It reminds me that I still have to make this year's charity block.
